An article in Time Magazine states that underworld don Abu Salem organized a Press release in India and made claims that he funded Shahrukh Khan starrer Devdas – which was said to be the most expensive film of its time.
Indian police are investigating allegations that Devdas – the most expensive Indian film made – was funded by gangsters.
